We are very excited to offer Indo-Row®/Water Rower at Pilates Body Home. We are incorporating the rower into some group circuit classes, duets and privates.  The combination of alternating cardio bursts with strength on the pilates machines provides a transformative total-body workout that challenges the body and focuses the mind.  This unique zen like rowing machine is the perfect compliment to Pilates.  Since it has been featured on The Greatest Loser for the past two seasons it has gotten a tremendous amount of press. Here is what they are saying about Indo-Row®/Water Rower:

Shape Magazine
“… start rowing your way to a stronger, leaner body.”

Fitness Magazine
“Cardio Challenge of the month…row away 300 calories (in 15 mins.)”

WALL STREET JOURNAL

“The Indo-Row® machines – which have water-filled flywheels intended to replicate an on-water experience – are mounted with monitors that measure each rower’s miles per hour and calories burned, which helps motivate Mr. Rubens. And despite an aversion to organized fitness, he says the group dynamic works well for him. ‘I get an intensity in a group setting that I never could achieve exercising on my own.’”

Fox News ‘Fox and Friends’
“Hottest new fitness phenomenon since indoor cycling!”

CNN Headline News: Health Minute
“Who needs a river when you can get the same effects rowing indoors.”

Los Angeles Times
“Great cross training for such activities as cycling and running…”

New York Times
“…not only can Indo-Row® become addictive but this full-body workout may also reshape you from shoulders to calves…former runners and people with chronic injuries find Indo-Row® offers a great low-impact way to avoid pavement pounding.”

Daily Candy
“… you may find the class so much fun you forget you’re burning as many as 1,000 calories an hour and getting the best tush workout in town.”

HUFF POST Style

“I’ve discovered my go-to routine for burning calories and relieving stress may perhaps be a bit antiquated. It turns out that instead of popping and hopping, I should have been rowing instead. Yes, you heard me — rowing… Or didn’t you hear, rowing is the New Black.”
